Yuba County Workshop Scenario Summaries

Workshop participants were asked to select from four scenarios.

For more information about the different scenarios, please view the Panel Maps and the Scenario Maps.

Scenario A
  • Continue current development trends.
  • More housing than jobs
  • Fairly low residential densities
Scenario B
  • Lower growth rate than A
  • Some growth accommodated in re-urbanized mixed use centers/corridors
  • More diverse and higher density housing stock, but still housing heavy
Scenario C
  • Growth rate slightly higher than A, but still housing heavy
  • Same re-urbanized mixed use centers/corridors, but at higher densities
  • Housing densities higher than B
Scenario D
  • Higher growth rate and higher densities than C
  • Same densities in re-urbanized mix use centers/corridors with addition of more re-urbanization north of Olivehurst
