  • One important thought was to be aware of the possible lack of feasibility of scenarios B, C and D. Because market resistance and other political forces, the scenarios B, C and D may be pushing the envelope. Even so, scenario A was unacceptable as it represents status quo.

  • Looked at South Sac. Area Large focus on Elk Grove and USB to forcast what is best on a county wide basis. Took into account TRANSPORTATION & BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE with a more mixed residential zone.

  • Creation of a Bus Rapid Transit Line on Grant Line, Sunrise Blvd, and Kammerer Road.

  • Increased employment opportunities in the South Area in an attempt to reduce dependency on downtown employment. Have less people go to downtown. Create a Linden-Sutterville bridge as a major way to reduce travel time from the Southport/West Sac area to the growing S. Sac area (particularly City College)
