SACOG Blueprint Implementation Workshops

The Blueprint Project established a long range regional vision for how the Sacramento region will manage an effective doubling of population growth by 2050. Many of the strategies that were discussed by the over 5000 residents in the region called for the implementation of what are known as the Blueprint Planning Principles: housing options, compact development, transportation choices, mixed land uses, conservation of natural resources, using existing assets, and quality design.

To achieve the region's vision, the principles need to be applied in everyday, real-life decision making, planning and construction. SACOG offers a variety of workshops aimed at different audiences to education and provide discussion forums for the region's residents, local government staffs, planning commissioners and elected officials.

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS
